Viaduc Du Boulevard De La Chapelle

Drawing outside in beastly cold air.

  1. What a lovely, humble winter drawing we have here, so full of poignancy, gaiety and sadness... the effortfullness of a railroad bridge abutment taking its stand in the cold air. It is accompanied by a retinue of bare trees and branches as if some sense of place existed there. This scene of steel girders spanning across the landscape... the human longing for completion, is executed with such a delicate modesty of line, perfectly in keeping with its subject matter.

  2. Nathaniel, thank you very much for this poetic comment, I'm exited, Verena

  3. Artstamers, thank you for nice words and signs. x
